Tonight on Channel 4 prog about Child Abuse !!!

the programme is at 10.30 gmt and is a channel 4 dispatches special about child abuse in a religious community.

i think this is concerned with a case within the jewish religious community here.. i think we all in the u.k, and anyone else who can access it, should watch it , and then perhaps many of us can e-mail the programmes makers and highlight the jw problem.

the jewish religious community is probably only about twice the size of the u.k jw's, about 266, 000 identified as jewish in a religious sense in the 2001 census.

hi guys & girls.. though you can sit back down in your seats now, sorry but not a jw, never have been & never will be, am a totally happy with athiest life, lol.. started lurking here about a year ago, started dating a jw woman didn't i, i here the face palms, lol.

i do recall a person who changed his name to yahweh ben yahweh , that is the only person i have ever heard of , are their any others ?.

Here in UK Jesus is not a common name.

The first time I heard of anyone with that name other than Christ was a children's entertainer at the hotel we were staying at in Spain.

My daughter came from the play area with a large flower painted on her arm. I asked her who did it and she replied "Jesus". It felt very strange to be using that name on a real live person.

When I told witnesses in UK the children's entertainer was called Jesus they thought it was blasphemous and should not be allowed!

this isnt just based on this page, but other pages ive read on this website.

while youre at it why not just say all black people are criminals, all asians are rapists and all white people molest their children.

With all the information /input thats been volunteered to this site , surely someone could produce a book tapping the wealth of information that is contained from contributors.

I have a scrap book for my own personal use and I take a screen shot of text with my notes along side their text all as an image. Not sure if that would still be classed as breaking copywrite but as I don't plan on selling it they won't ever know.

I just like collating evidence against them.

i've always thought about this but have never received an answer on how the wbts explaiend the phenomenon.... to my understanding, every member of the wbts had the heavenly hope...however, by 2 classes were created...the heavenly, and earthly hope.... does anyone know the number of jw's as of that famous assembly of 1935 where the earthly hope was revealed and imposed?.

what is the wbts explanation for the thousands of jw's who had heavenly hope now all of a sudden have the earthly hope?.

this leads me to one conclusion...how dare this or any other organization determine what your hope or believe should be...shame on them.

When I started to read a Good News Bible as opposed to the NWT I discerned the 2 flocks to be Jews and Gentiles, not some going to heaven and the rest staying on earth.

Watchtower do say that if you read the Bible without Watchtowers you revert back to apostate teachings. They were right about that!

sd-7 That is exactly the reason I was told. They had reached the magical number and the big A still hadn't come but they were not told to stop preaching which surely would have been the obvious course of action if the final total had been reached.

hi there, as was suggested to me, i'm starting this thread to say hi to everyone.. my awakening began recently, after the new light on the 'slave'.

i felt it didn't add up and went to check and found out ttatt.

for a while i tried to find evidence of whether the wt might still be god's organization, i needn't say i couldn't.. i had already resigned as a ministerial servant and a pioneer, had already had several issues with the elders and did not put up with their nonsense for a long.
